Q. Where will my video images be used?
A. Volunteer images are used for Video Identification parades only. Your image will only appear on a video identification parade if the suspect’s image and your appearance are similar.
Q. Is there a minimum number of volunteers required for you to come and hold a volunteer recording session?
A. The number of preferred volunteers required for a mobile recording session varies depending on a number of factors. For example, whether volunteers have an appearance we are particularly seeking or the distance and travel time required by the team to undertake a session. At an average 6 hour recording session, approximately 100 people can be filmed.
Q. What would I need to do on the day of the recording session?
A. On the actual day there will be very little for you to do. We will need a point of contact for the day but our VIPER® personnel will complete all the set-up, administration and technical aspects. We will need to liaise with you prior to the day to confirm event times, access, parking, security and volunteer appointments if applicable (often at business premises) as this ensures the actual day runs smoothly.
